# Quick Start

This page provides the recommended reading order for external integrations. It does not redefine any API schema. Request and response fields remain authoritative on the corresponding endpoint pages.

## Before You Start

Make sure you have:

* a HalfMoon-issued `business` API key
* the correct production environment and domain information
* the relevant contract addresses for your target chain

## Recommended Integration Path

### Option 1: Aggregated API Mode

This is the recommended path for most integrators.

1. Call [Listing APIs](/halfmoon-docs/products/pmm-rfq/listing-endpoints/listing.md) to confirm supported tokens and pairs
2. Call [Indicative Pricing](/halfmoon-docs/products/pmm-rfq/agg-swap-endpoints/indicative-pricing.md) for pre-trade pricing
3. Call [Firm Quote](/halfmoon-docs/products/pmm-rfq/agg-swap-endpoints/firm-quote.md) to receive executable calldata
4. Follow the execution section on [Firm Quote](/halfmoon-docs/products/pmm-rfq/agg-swap-endpoints/firm-quote.md) to submit the transaction
5. Immediately after broadcast, call [Report Transaction Hash](/halfmoon-docs/products/pmm-rfq/agg-swap-endpoints/report-tx-hash.md) with the `swap_id` from step 3 and the resulting `tx_hash`
6. Refer to [Error Codes](/halfmoon-docs/products/pmm-rfq/error-codes.md) and [FAQ](/halfmoon-docs/products/pmm-rfq/faq.md) during integration and testing

### Option 2: Aggregator Mode

This path is intended for advanced integrations that need direct access to per-market-maker liquidity.

1. Call [Listing APIs](/halfmoon-docs/products/pmm-rfq/listing-endpoints/listing.md) to confirm supported tokens and pairs
2. Connect to [WebSocket Orderbook](/halfmoon-docs/products/pmm-rfq/quote-endpoints/websocket-orderbook.md) and subscribe to depth
3. Call [Single Firm Quote](/halfmoon-docs/products/pmm-rfq/quote-endpoints/single-firm-quote.md) for an executable quote
4. Follow the decoding and Settlement sections on [Single Firm Quote](/halfmoon-docs/products/pmm-rfq/quote-endpoints/single-firm-quote.md) to decode `rfq_quote_data`
5. Construct and submit the transaction using the same page
6. Call [Tx Hash Reporting](/halfmoon-docs/products/pmm-rfq/quote-endpoints/report-tx-hash.md) after broadcast to report the `quote_id` to `tx_hash` mapping
7. Refer to [Error Codes](/halfmoon-docs/products/pmm-rfq/error-codes.md) and [FAQ](/halfmoon-docs/products/pmm-rfq/faq.md) during integration and testing
